The Justice Department announced Wednesday it would hand over documents related to the Obama-era Fast and Furious gun scandal to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
Former President Obama and former Attorney General Eric Holder had previously refused to produce documents requested by Oversight, documents which former Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz at the time called “critical” to pursuing the investigation.
The original Fast and Furious operation — conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives — somehow allowed nearly 2,000 firearms to find their way into the hands of Mexican cartel members.
Firearms connected to the program were found at multiple crime scenes in both the United States and Mexico, including the murder scene of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.
Not to mention the Iran Nuclear deal..that's real patriotic.

Back to the original post...this statement doesn't even make sense. Someone care to tell me what "Trump's debt is half that of Obama's" is even referring to? Only figure that I see as relevant to compare are Obama's last year and Trump's first year. The U.S. Federal deficit was $587 billion in Obama’s last year and it grew to $666 billion in Trump’s first year of his presidency.

This legislation failed on all counts and is THE reason why we're dealing with the exact same crap 32 years later but on a larger scale. This was Reagan's (and America's) biggest failure of the past 40 years and will have negative implications for generations to come unless we grow a pair and FIX IT. If Trump can do that he will, IMO, EXCEED Reagan. This is an issue that's as big a threat to America as WWII was. Only with this it's a relatively peaceful invasion by a foreign force wanting to take over, but dangerous to us none the less.
