If they cant jail Hillary for the many felonies she committed both as an elected official and as a candidate, do you really think that Donald Trump is going down for getting laid outside his marriage as private citizen?

Here, we need you to pee in this bottle.

Sorry for Hijacking but I needed to take out the trash.

There is plenty of evidence to support the connection between more guns=more gun violence. Which stats do you believe? Depends on which side of the argument you think is right. Here are stats from the other perspective: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/2/21/17028930/gun-violence-us-statistics-charts

Bownarrow, are you saying our FBI stats are false? Almost 90% of guns used in violent crimes are stolen or bought illegally?

If those FBI stats are correct, common sense tells me that the problem is not the amount of guns available.

If criminals know more people may be packing, that will deter them...not in all cases but it will overall. How many police stations do criminals attempt to rob? How many Gun Shows do people get mugged at? Common sense is rapidly becoming rare.

If you're afraid of guns then don't have one. But DO NOT tell me what I need or should or shouldn't be able to have. Why don't you move to a place where the people can't have guns, only the government. That should make you happy and is what you want for here, only you'll never get that short of another civil war, and if you're afraid of guns that will REALLY make you crap yourself.

If there are 100 guns in the hands of private owners or 1 billion the unchanging reality is that absent a conscious decision to pull a trigger no one gets shot-ever.

Targeting the tool (gun) is the ultimate fool's errand and lends much credence to the adage "not seeing the forest for the trees." Ultimately, it is the human element in the equation that is the key to "gun violence."

Guns are not new to America, and even the now-infamous AR-15 isn't a johnny-come-lately. The key question not many seem to be asking is "what's changed?"

Incredibly, the answer to that question is very easy but also very painful-to a segment of Americana at least:

-The breakdown of the traditional family unit, perhaps no more in evidence than in the black community

-The breakdown of the moral fiber of this country

-The breakdown in general of "respect"; most notably respect for life, respect for others, respect for private property and especially respect for the rule of law

-The devaluation of human life; when life is reduced to a matter of convenience to the point where it becomes a disposable commodity we have lost a piece of our collective soul with repercussions both immediate and far into the future. We have raised a generation (if not 2) who have become desensitized to the grim reality that abortion has become a highly popular practice of birth control and a willing abrogation of the concept of personal responsibility.

We have become a nation where the tail wags the dog; normal behavior is now forbidden (the normal working out on the playground of youthful male aggression) and the abnormal has become normal (don't like your gender, pick the one that "feels" right)

So of course we blame the tool (gun); it removes the necessity to accept that we (the collective we) are the problem and the culture we've allowed to bloom is the ever-ready accomplice to the fall of the modern-day Rome.

The former merely requires demagoguery; the latter hard, real-world choices and shoveling the PC-gone-mad mindset into the dumpster of history.

The first step in solving any problem is identifying the problem.

This isn't rocket science.......
