Might want to fact check that one. Los Angeles gas is currently around $3.50.

I paid $5.19 a gallon for diesel in Bridgeport Ca. a few weeks ago! It's $3.15 here in AZ right now. Both are Shell prices!

When I drive down I-10, gas on the CA side of the border is usually 80-90 cents more per gallon than right on the other side in AZ.
I took my daughter to a concert in LA earlier in the week and saw 4.20/gal for regular and 4.90 for diesel in the Inglewood area.

Our fuel is different.
The idiot politicians in CA decided that we needed specialized formulations of fuel...decreases the fallout of certain toxic something or other- I dunno specifics.
That and the added taxes make our fuel more expensive.
