Trump or Obama on America’s economy
To add to the article. If our economy is so great because of Obama why has it been rising with Trumps policies that differ from Obama’s?
Wait till Trumps tariff's start showing their affects to they economy. He was doing the right things up until that.
It wont be as bad as some think or say .... this economy is the best it has been in years ... Trump has free'd up regulations on businesses and will negotiate new trade regs from strength, not from caving as in the past

No pain no gain! Why do you think no one else wanted to address the issue? Because most politicians worry more about re-election than they do America! Trump is making the hard decision because he is not one of them! Time will tell if it works or not.
i will take a short term small tariff hit to stop the other countries from ripping off America with terrible trade deals.
European governments don't like POTUS Trump implementing tariffs based upon their "already" imposed tariffs on good made in the USA. POTUS Trump is working to even the playing field. Europeans shudder at this because of America's ability to produce. Americans are the hardest most innovative working society compared to the world when government doesn't stand in the way. European governments rely on tariffs imposed on American products. What has been the norm for European social Marxist style of government will upset that revenue stream with POTUS Trumps policies being implemented.
So now you understand why European governments don't like POTUS Trump
These Trade imbalances are something that we can't just "let it ride"...nobody has ever addressed this ever-spiraling issue on either side of the aisle for the last 3 decades (or more).
I think Trump knows that if he looks the other way, it will never resolve.
Steel/aluminum tariffs are a good idea to keep some steel aluminum production in the US. Think WW2, who was the industrial might of the world? And who is it now? How long would it take to build and get a steel mill up running. Do we have enough time if we get into a shooting war with China?
Inquiring minds want to know.
