Spike I’ve resisted the temptation to ride and do it on roads like that one. With handheld computers biking is too often a contact sport and you couldn’t pay me enough to ride on roads with any regularity.

That's unreal, bummer for the deer. This one has floated around for a number of years, it's from south Africa, I think, during a big race called the Cape Epic where you race in two person teams. My memory may be off but I think that's when it happened. Dang big antelope just completely destroy's the guy. I saw a different video where they discussed that he had a concussion and maybe a few other injuries. Key point... Its not just the metal box drivers we cyclists need to worry about!
