Looking for some good sourdough biscuit recipes to make while in deer camp.I got starter.my recipe is not good.thanks,dan

Dough's got to sour for a while in order to be sour dough don't it?

Look up cowboy Kent Rollins on YouTube. Almost certain he has one. He is a chuck wagon cool from out of Oklahoma. Lots of good cast iron/camp recipes.

Got to have starter. I have had mine since 1971.

My brother has had his starter since the 60s. Here's the strange thing about starter is that different yeast mold comes from our starters. We can make the same biscuits and his come out different than mine. He lives on the coast with a lot more humidity. When the kids come home to visit that's what they want for breakfast.
