Fella I know does the most incredible work with stone. This head would rip through an animal like butter

Very cool. I've always thought it'd be cool to kill something with 100% self-made equipment. The back end looks a little weak though. Seems that with a little force it'd break and dislodge.

Very similar to a "Ishi Point" ..... narrow slit and then opens up to make the notch ..... there are a few 'knappers' that have a 'claim to fame' for their various works of art! ..... and a work of art is truly what great flint napping is! .....nice piece in that top picture!! ....jmho
