I saw a lot of those in the early years. Mine was a Wart Hog

Didn’t Darton make the wart hog?

My favorite bow of all time was my Martin Cougar Magnum

Mine was a 1979 model maybe a 1980

Nice bow Dan. Martin made the Wart Hog. I shot a Martin Cougar Mag in the late 70's and shot some of my best barebow scores with it. You can use them just like a traditional bow, and I still have one that I shoot that way....no sights, just an elevated rest that I make myself, and split finger draw. They are easy to setup for finger shooting...which is how 99% of us did it in the mid 70's, and are long enough not to have much string angle at relatively longer draws. As for the older technology, guys were shooting perfect field rounds with them in the 1970's. Don't know how you can do better than that.

That one looks like a early-mid 80's model. They made a bow by that name almost every year.

I had a martin Warthog, not a bad bow.

Yup, up here the wood riser being warm in the winter was a selling feature.

Man, I wanted a Cougar Mag in the WORST way for at least 5 years....

But then I bought a Hunter instead.

Helluva find, Dan!

Cougar made in late 70's/ early 80's.

The warthog was made by Martin. I think circa early 80's.

Dad still has his cougar 2 (i believe that is what is anyway.) Wanted it in the worst way when I was a kid. Still shoots well. Really quiet.

I had an 82 version and I think that this is before that.
