Seen where a reg.change for no bucks taken from public land till 12/2 is being hashed over.don't have the whole story yet.

Here is what they are looking at “only one antlerless deer from public hunting areas per license year and require that only antlered deer be harvested on public land after Dec. 2. This proposal would allow for some herd growth on public land.”

Does that mean no does after December 2.that will put a crimp on non residents coming for gun season after a buck.

Don't want to be a naysayer, but with a call in "Harvest Reporting System" this is going to be a tough enforcement... Unless the ODNR Officer, is waiting at your vehicle :^}
Additionally the Gun Hunter's are not going to pleased. It could be back to "Brown and Down" then check for antlers. Could leave a lot of carcasses on public land.
Personally I don't think this one is going anywhere.

I will have more info soon, but I wouldn’t count on it going into effect from what I’ve heard. There are a few others that will most likely happen first. Think more public land :)

Just can't see big bucks getting a pass till December 2.lots of hunters take a meat deer then work the rut.

Box Call you have it wrong. It is bucks only after gun season, either sex before then.
