A regular poster on Bowsite was "Toby". He is a bowhunter who has a pretty stout bowhunting resume'. It has been quite a while since I have read any threads that included his posts. Does anyone know what has happened to Toby and why he no longer post?

Old Toby... The finest weed in the Southfarthing.

When I hear that name it reminds me of Toby Bridges. He was the guy who moved to Montana and came on Bowsite lobbying for September muzzleloader elk seasons in Montana. He was promptly tarred and feathered after beating a dead horse as best he could and never seen again.

When I hear that name I think of Tobias Vincent Maguire. He is an American actor and producer. He gained recognition for his film roles in Pleasantville, The Cider House Rules, Wonder Boys, Spider-Man, and Seabiscuit.

When I hear the name Toby, I think of Kunta Kinte, who later in life was known as "Toby", from the hit TV mini series Roots.

Good find, stick. So Buffalo, is that toby or not toby. That is the question.

I'm not as accomplished of a bowhunter as the real Toby, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once :)

Is this the Toby you’re thinking about? Tobias from arrested development. Not sure that he hunts or that he’s from Mexico, but it’s possible. Is this the Toby you’re thinking about? Tobias from arrested development. Not sure that he hunts or that he’s from Mexico, but it’s possible.

I corresponded with him not long ago. He has a new job that could be distracting him from BS (as opposed to BS distracting him from work, which is how it works with me).

Yes, that is Master Seargent Buster K. Brown. "K" for killer ! I call that his grumpy look. He tends to look like that when his hair gets long. He's a rough coat Jack Russell and a deer/hog trailing son-of-a-gun.

Note the regal pose after he finds his quarry !

From: Nick Muche

When I think of Bono, I recall a cold winters day in January of 1995, coincidentally it was my 9th birthday. On that day, Bono died of injuries sustained when he hit a tree while skiing on the Nevada side of Heavenly Ski Resort near South Lake Tahoe, California.

His death came less than a week after Michael Kennedy, a son of Robert F. Kennedy, died in a similar skiing accident in Aspen, Colorado.

Don,

The FBI could sure get some leads on Toby from Bowsite. I'm sure Facebook has shared his data. He may be in colussion with the Russians too.

Drycreek, are you shooting that arrow out of a bow or throwing it out of an atlatl? What's your draw length?

From: drycreek

The arrow is only 29" long. I guess that makes the doe pretty small don't it, but she eats good. :-)
