I just recently purchased my first bow: Used Mathews Creed XS. However it does not have a grip. Do old Mathews walnut grips works with all their bows? If so where do I find a replacement?

A poster on ArcheryTalk says that all Mathews bows have the same grip beds and will accept any grrip made for a mathews bow interchangeably.

Have you ried shooting it without a grip?

That was my favorite answer to the grip problem with some of my bows while I was having recurrent torquing prolems in the past. Liked it during summer practicing, but whenthe temps dropped, needed either a glove or a wooden/rubber grip. Shot a coupleof then with no grips and just used a glove when needed in colder weather. A cloth or leather glove works best, you DON'T want one with the rubber "gripping dots" built in! eliminating any friction between hand and riser is the best torque reducer possible.
