I am looking to buy some new early season camo with a lot of green in it. I like the predator spring green and green deception, but nobody local sells it. Anyone have any field use photos of Predator camo? The catalog pictures are really not the best.
thats the great thing about predator they dont spend a ton on adds they dont have to there camo speaks for itself , warning u mght just get run over by a critter when wearing the gear I own every one except the green deception. louis
Spring Green shirt, Fall Gray pants. I have several sets of each.

Here's a photo just standing round getting ready to set up on a bird last year... Not bad for 5 feet away in the open :)
I think Predator Camo is the TOPS in camo wear! I've got field photos somewhere....but off hand I wouldn't know where they are at. But PREDATOR is the best I have ever owned or used.....jmho
I'm at work so I can't share any photos right now but I will say that you would be better off buying your Predator camo garb from a company other than Predator. Predator has some of the best patterns out there, but the quality of Predator brand clothing and customer service leaves much to be desired.
If it's for deer, just buy the gray. Deer are color-blind.
If for turkeys, definitely go green.
Sorry just the predator pants in this photo, late august, Unitah Mtns, Utah...4finger
Been a long day, should read "Uintah Mtns"...4finger
I know you wanted spring green but heres some old style fall brown, still my favorite all round camo, during early september Uintah Mtns Utah...4finger
FG pants, SG top. Buddy is wearing Advantage jacket- it sure blobs up at a distance.
wide angle lens- my feet aren't really THAT big
Eastern OR - SG shirt, Mirage pants
Sure wish I still had my Larry D Jones floppy hat.
Justin again in FB not bad in such thick foilage as this :^)...4finger
I like the photos. What quality issues has anyone had with the clothing?
I don't have any in the field photos but I will say this, my favorite pattern is Fall Brown because it blends in from early season (yes, even when it is very green out) right on through winter when everything is off the trees and bushes. I thought for sure I was going to stand out in the early season with the brown on but my doubts were soon sent packing when I was walking down a WIDE OPEN logging road and came around a corner to find 5 doe feeding within 40 yards of me. They looked up and just went right back on feeding, never taking so much as a second glance at me. I was sold!!!
As for quality issues I can't comment on them because I order my stuff from GrayWolf.
Oh what the heck,, how bout another?? Jay
Maybe I should put the pic in this time.. LOL Jay
The quality has been good but remember these are just cotton camo clothes nothing high tech, after a couple of hard seasons the knees blow the same as all baseline cotton camos but the patterns DO work well. Crappy picture but my other sons cow called this bull into 12yd for Justin then turned and he put a broadhead thru him at 16yds down in 60yds...4finger

wondering how you guys think it will work treestand hunting when the leaves are still on (NY) in the early season??????
YoungBuck187,
Back in 2001(Delaware County), I shot a 10 ptr between 5 to 10 yrds away using my fall gray. I was just about 10 ft up on a tree. The buck was feeding on acorns, just looks at me as if I was not there, then went back to feed on acorns. He is now on my wall. Great camo!

Alberta Mulie, my absolute favorite early season camo
Another Alberta Mulie that didn't see me...
having yet to use my new fall gray suit.. how do guys who have used it feel about fall gray in pine trees?
A bunch of my stands are in pines and i dont know how i feel about such a light pattern in a green pine tree.
Not that the pred brown blends that well in the scene, but I really like this pic. Sunrise in Ak with a big herd of caribou on the move, on a backdrop of valley mist and mountain shadow....
So would you go fall brown or fall gray for all around hunting?
Absolutely love my predator!! No quality gripes either!! Sorry no pics up yet! But walking to my stand in the middle of the day only wearing my brown deception my camera caught a pic and it looks like I have no legs!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
A bit of snow and the fall grey is awesome!
Another to show how it matches the sky in the background.
THE BEST!!!! NO DOUBT! LOVE IT!
