Check out this video of our friend and his son John Austin as John Austin tracks and finds his second deer kill. His first was about 7 years ago. He took the deer with a muzzle loader not a bow, but the video is definitely worth watching. It is my understanding that Drury Outdoors has contacted him and ask him up for a hunt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmOS7Za5XWI

I grew up hunting the Catahoula Swamp glad to see it hasn't changed much. I was raised near Pineville and we had a camp in the swamp not far from Catahoula Lake. Great video.

Only thing I can say is AWESOME! the sheer joy of Big John is something you rarely see in kids these days. made my day for sure!
Makes me even more impatient for the day that happens with my now 6 year old son, Hunter. I just pray that I can introduce him to hunting and that he takes to it like I did. I just hope he doesn't take as long to get into it like I did. I was 22 when I got into it, although my dad took me hunting in my teens, I never got a shot and never understood it like I did when I was 22!

Big John arrived at Mark Drury's Iowa property this weekend and on his first afternoon hunt tagged out on this 151 10 pt. The hunt will air in Sept. on one of the Drury programs. Thanks to the Drury's for helping this young man's dream come true.
