Possible 2015 Bowsite Wildlife Calendar.

Am looking to see how much interest there would be for a Bowsite Wildlife calendar for next year. If we do this BB would put together 13 of his fantastic photos to go with each month and the cover. This is just in the planning stage. Cost would run around $13-$14 each and a cut in price for multiple orders. We would need at least 100 orders to make this viable. A check in the mail with a return address is how we would probably work payment. No credit cards. So if you think you would be interested just give ua a positive response to this thread and we will see what happens.
Thanks,
Chip Tamar
Silk City Calendar Co.
count me in - I have seen both your work... I would like at least one whitetail pic though (please)
Count me in for one or a few
Chip, I am in!! Just let me know.
Best regards, Scott Alberda
Sounds like a no-brainer. I'd buy.
Great idea and good Christmas gift! I would take four.
Why not have a photo contest, best 13 voted on here make the Calender.
I may be grim, but would prefer one with field kill photos of 13 trophy animals. This idea is not bad either. Just a thought.
13 of BB's photos... I'm in.
+2 on paypal. Makes it fast and easy to order.
I'd rather see kill photos, preferably without the hunter, just nicely posed animals with the bow maybe. I can get a calendar with live animals any day of the week.
I could be in if u did paypal
No matter payment method I will get at least four to share with my family. Bob.
I have to have a wall calendar at work. I'd love to have one. However payment worked would be fine.
Is Lou in his hospital gown gonna be Miss June???
I'd enter one of mine for it if you wanted.
Count me in...for at least two calendars.
Hell yeh Chip, count me in as they would make GREAT x-mas gifts to many folks with Bills photo's each month.
Writing a check would be just fine.
Good luck, Robb
Count me in for at least one! +2 for PayPal.
+3 for PayPal. And a photo contest with everyone able to contribute voted on by all members.
Chip
I think you should do a couple BB calendars. The pure wildlife shots, of course, but also a couple shot placement calendars. January should be the butt on shots, with the close up of the Muley a$$ with just the fetching showing.....then various red dot/ green dot/ black line pics that have been posted over the years. OH and don't forget another with the dissected and halved critters detailing anatomy!!
I'd buy the set!
On whatever scale, I hope you guys do this.
Steve
Yeah, I'd be in for that. At least a couple. Jay
Yes, that would be a great idea and I would definitely take one, maybe more.
I would take a live animal calendar.
I'd be in....how about we make them an even $20 and donate the proceeds to a good cause promoting youth archery?
chip how much cost would it be to have about 12 calendars made up for my hunting club?
Or photos with bowsiters kids?
I'd be in for that one too Kelly! Makes me smile every time I see a kid with an animal they've taken!
"I may be grim, but would prefer one with field kill photos of 13 trophy animals."
RHale, You mean harvest photos?
I'm in as long as you stick with BB's photos.
I'll take a few. Make a good Christmas gift.
Yep. I would buy one. Paypal would be great. It is user friendly. I dont even know where my wife keeps the check book.
Yep, dead animals, bow harvest only. Have site members submit photos and select the best ones. I am not telling anyone what to do, just like someone said, we all can get wildlife pic calendars anywhere. Archery kill photos from guys we 'know' on the site would be special. JMO
I would buy one with BB's photos of live animals. Not so much with the harvest photos. Unless two different calendar's were made. One of wildlife photos and the other with the kill photos.
I would probably get a couple.
Yup.....if it's all BB pics
Heck I didn't even know they still made paper calendars I buy one for the pictures alone
If BB is doing the photos count me in.
Count me in as long as it doesn't contain any pictures of Pat or Ned :)
I would be in for a couple if it contained wild life photos. Not too interested in other people's kill photos. I like looking at others kill photos but I want to hang the calendar in my office.
I am in, if keeping with the BB photo concept!
I am only in if BB style photo, live animal and no person.
Count me in on the BB calendar.
I'd like to be Mr.March I'll hook up with BB and have him take some swim suit photos...
Let me reiterate that I am in for the original concept. I be loving me some BB photos !
5575,
That is an awesome picture.
5575,
That is an awesome picture.
Lou in his hospital gown with dollar bills hangin' off the strings, some summer month....And one with Pat n' Charlie in their elf suits for December....
Second thought.... stick with BB.... this will be hangin' in public....
BB's photos are awesome. I'd buy one
Count me in, regardless of photos or payment method.
I sure appreciate the nice words on my passion. I know a lot of you are big whitetail fans, and I don't blame you a bit, but I don't ever get where I can take WT photos, so if you want some of those, someone else will have to help on that count.
Thanks again for your support. Have a great bow hunt. BB
Just a combined suggestion. Do a BB calendar this year with a portion of proceeds going to a worthy cause. If there's ample interest, maybe do a Bowsite Kids calendar too. Seems like they'd sell.
Maybe have a contest this year for cool hunting kid pics and or cool kill shots like 5575's above. Pony up the price of a 2016 calendar with your photo submission, winners get to pick the worthy bowhunting cause that will be supported. The kill shot calendar might not pull as large numbers, but participation could dictate how elaborate it would be and there'd be enough time to manage it.
I'd pop for a few of each.
If its an all BB calendar, I'd order one in a second!
Seems to me BB needs to be in the calendar business!
Personally I don't see what the big deal is, heck anyone with an artists eye, many years of experience, unlimited patience, impeccable woodmanship skills and the heart of a hunter can take a good photo.
And that 4 antlered, octopus bull he posted up above, that had to be taken behind a high fence.
(Just in case someone doesn't recognize sarcasm: Bill I regularly find myself in awe at your skill, keep up the good work. You are truly a Bowsite treasure!)
Well, Ace, from what I heard, anybody could take those kinds of pics if they had the money for the right camera and all the free time and had rugged good looks...
So, we're at almost 100 posts and several people have at least claimed that they'd order more than one. When will you be taking orders, at what price? Will there be some support of National Archery in the Schools or some other charity? After you choose which of BB's pics you'll use, can I have the left overs?
For the right charity, you can put me down for two.
If it's BB's photos I'm in for sure
Remind me when it's time--
BB; Your double bull photo is awesome! Thanks for sharing 'em all.
