Another bullhead bird
Turkey

Went out this morning and soon after getting settled in, a Tom popped out of the brush and gave me and a buddy a great show but hung up out around 60 yards for what seemed like a couple of hours. He wandered off, wouldn't come check out the DSD jake and hen.
We had a jake come by and before he could make his way to us, two large birds chased him off. I hit them with a few yelps and they started a fast walk toward the decoys, ready to chase another jake away!!
I readied my bow and when they reached the dekes I drew. They didn't like that and quickly turned around. I anchored the larger bearded bird with a 125 grain Magnus bullhead. My buddy toting his shotgun took the other beard which ended up having bigger spurs, weighed more and had a full fan. We're thinking beard rot ??
Anyhow here's a short video: http://youtu.be/wHx07t6XYvQ
My bird was 17lbs, 8.5" beard, 13/16" spurs
I wish this image were clearer.
Looks good to me, that is one bad... Pic my friend, congrats on the kill. I couldn't find the vid

Good Luck, Nick
Congrats on another nice longbeard.
I hit low yesterday and watched him walk away. Searched the net and ordered a couple sets of those bullheads.
No more lost arrows nor unrecovered birds.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good stuff and God Bless
that pic is way cool! congrats!
Thats one of the best pics i have seen in a while. Congrats. HUNT
Looks like with the distance the arrow has left to reach the turkeys head and the angle of the arrow that it will miss to the right about a half a foot.

Nice pics R.B.O.
I don't mind you sharing those pics on my thread but man you should've started your own so people don't miss em, my thread was old news LOL.
Congrats again.
Sweet stuff R.B.O. No question about the cause of death for that bird, wow!
You know, you couldn't have done that in Alabama, though. :-)
2 trad bullhead birds, I see there are a few more outfits making heads similar to the bullhead, I don't know which one is best but I do like the bullhead
Love those Magnus Bullheads. Great pics!
I guess they work ok with traditional gear. Was wondering about that. What distance do you limit yourself to with that BH?
Are those DSD decoys?
with trad gear and bow poundage's 50 to 55lbs you probably won't lop the head completely off but it will do plenty enough damage, they do not take a step. I set my decoys close 5 to 8 yards and my shots are at that range. I use DSD decoys and the Jake is going to be where the action is at.
Our bullheads have a lifetime replacement guarantee, if you ever bend or break a blade or broadhead all you have to do is email us a picture of the damage along with your complete name and address and we will replace. thanks
There you go TBM. Since bowhunting turkeys are so easy for you why don't you try traditional bows next.
"Looks like with the distance the arrow has left to reach the turkeys head and the angle of the arrow that it will miss to the right about a half a foot."
TBM....maybe the bird was moving to the right....that's referred to as a "leading the bird".....it's next level thinking....
