Hey guys. I just picked up a pair of these and wanted to give my thoughts to those who may be considering buying a pair. In short...I love them. I wore them out yesterday in 85 degree heat while hanging a new stand. They are a dream for hanging stands. No loss of movement, stretchy, and light as pajama pants. They breath well, and dry quickly when wet. At first I was reluctant to spend that kind of money on pants. But I am sure now that these will be on me while hanging stands, scouting, turkey hunting, and deer hunting in October. Fit is perfect for me as well. Really good stuff!

For guys shooting recurves or longbows, there is a pocket on the inseam that can be used to help support your bow at ready when game is coming slowly. Takes a little tension off the muscles. Mike

Yep. Just wore them for a couple weeks in Africa. Comfy at all times, even riding in the cold in the bed of the pickup with my trackers.

I love the pants as well, still waiting on some feedback on the ESW jacket though. I can see that jacket being an excellent elk hunting shirt for early season as well.

bowpackerROB: I have the ESW Jacket and it will do very well with the ESW pants. Same material and pockets right where needed. The layering with a kelvin vest will get me through most of October then as needed I'll go to the Stratus Jacket. Always with layering. Good luck. C

Corey gave Bowsiters a 10% discount, but since he has sold Elk101 to concentrate on Extreme Elk Mag I'm not sure about the discount any more...

Yes great early pants, early season bear hunting pants here in WI along with the whitetails. I even envision wearing them in the early season green clover fields honker smashing :) As always Sitka has well though out the needs of the hunter.

Great pants. Very comfortable and quiet. Add a base layer and you can wear them down to 35-40 F depending on your comfort level.

Like the stratus line, The ESW pants have flap or gusset that covers the top of your rubber boots to keep out debris. Mike
