Maybe getting slightly out of time?

You need some arrow lube dude. 5 fps gain in speed. I use 3 coats and gain 15 fps. Stuff is awesome!

Is the arrow lube for speed you are using kinda like blinker fluid?
Arrow lube is so your arrows come out of 3D targets easier last I heard.

Prob out of time or new string and cables would bring it back up to speed

How much have you shot it and is it the original string?
Also since the speed loss have you paper tuned it? Check if you have a high tear on paper. If you do and the rest is right then I bet your cams are out of time.
If your bow is new and the string is new and you lost speed then it is a timing issue IMO.

A longer string ought to gain more speed (kinda like a longer draw length?).
I would check to see if the chronograph was properly calibrated.

I shot 100 arrows for string break in. Then however many after that is anyones guess. Been shooting at least 30-40 four to five times a week the last 3 weeks and before that 2-3 times a week. Got the bow in April I think. Heading for the bow shop this morning. Give me a gun and I'll do almost anything to it. Bows, I am out of my league and know it. Started out bow hunting then went to a gun and now in my old age back to a bow.

Most factory strings are junk, that seams to be where manufacturers save $$. I replace all my factory strings first thing.

Seriously, probably timing or something has caused a loss of efficiency. There isn't a chance that someone lowered the # on you is there?

Check your ATA and poundage. Betting your string and cables have stretched. Therefore increasing your ATA and dropping you poundage.
A few twists on the cables and string will likely get it back for you.

Check ATA. Google "Hoyt Tune Chart" and you'll be able to find the spec for your particular bow and cam. Measure from the center of each axle and it should be +/- 1/8" from spec, either way. It's likely the cables have stretched which will cause ATA to lengthen which will result in a drop in draw weight and loss of speed. A few twists of each to bring ATA back into spec and validating timing should get it all back to where you started. The 2014 Hoyt strings are pretty good, prior to this year not so much.

Like other have said, I would guess that the strings/cable have settled. I bet your poundage had dropped some and your timing has changed since you crono'd it when it was new. Easy fix with some string/cable twisting to put it in spec and tune. I can not see how arrow lube will increase your arrow speed in the slightest.

Before you change anything on your bow, mark the spot on your chronograph where you shoot with tape. make sure you put the arrow over the same spot each and every time. Chronographs have a sweet spot about one third to half way up from the screen, anywhere outside of that spot will produce different readings on each shot.

Bow was out of tune. Cams out of time and not shooting properly. But WOW…. had to really move my sight afterwards. Shot at 30 yards 1st shot. should have been @ 10. Put a arrow into a tree, nice bird perch now. Shot about 14" high and to the right 6" at 30 yards. All dialed in now but will have to see how much more stretch if any to come yet

On top of that new strings are a cheap investment now, 60x has the 8190 on sale for $55, however I went with the bcy X at $70 for my chillr.
