Not a gear list...... Maybe we can save a Bowsiter a ticket this year...

Many states require specifics in addition to your tag and license. Heres a few examples of what you might have forgotten; Archery stamp- Wyo- if you have a gen tag ...not type 9

Habitat Stamp- Colo for sure

Conservation stamp- Wyo for sure

Off road Vehicle tags for quads and UTV's- most states

ATV links. So the links line up, you will have to C&P Arizona http://www.azgfd.gov/outdoor_recreation/off_highway.shtml

Colo http://staythetrail.org/faq/

Wyo http://wyotrails.state.wy.us/

I probably just scratched the surface....post em up

Good idea for a thread.

In KS. the law is vague about the permit/tag issue. You need both a deer permit and a hunting license. I see NR hunters each year that have no intention of violating the law but still are not clear on it. Also, you need orange to hunt archery in the rifle or ML season. Two of the most common unintentional violations.

The intentional violations are another story.

Thanks for this reminder. I never thought about tags for UTVs because I never have taken one......until this year. Better check Wyo. regs. Thanks again!

Great idea. I looked into pig hunting in Texas or Florida and the tag system was a mess! I wasn't sure if I needed three or four different tags or what. Archery, hunting, habitat, game stamp, stupid complicated.

Don't need anything to hunt pigs in Florida, no license no nothing as long as your on private ground. If you hunt in a management area you can easily look up the regs for each management area as they do vary. Mike

moosenelson, you can hunt pigs in Texas with a non-res license and an archery stamp. No such thing as habitat or game stamps for pigs. They are considered exotics and can be hunted here 24/7/365. Come and kill 'em all !

You need the archery stamp for Wyoming as well.

Need the tag for whatever animal you intend to kill, archery permit, and conservation stamp. I leave tomorrow and have triple checked all my tags for the fall to ensure my ducks are in a row.

Shoot, I guess I wasn't too clear: Wyoming you need archery permit, conservation stamp and ATV lic- about 60 for all ( non res)

Wyo ATV can be bought online at my first link, takes 7-10 days and other wyo stamps can be purchased online and printed yourself.. Colo ATV can be bought at places like Sportsmens Wherehouse, colo lic and stamps can be purchased everywhere if you have your hunter safety card.

I know in Ca they like your horses to wear diapers on the trails.... Not officially, only suggested to me once by a couple hippies- grin.

ID archery afidavit.

WY conservation, archery, and potentially feed ground unit stamps.

WY interstate elk tag after kill.

CA Declaration form if bringing back to CA.
