Made a trip to the Unalakleet River this past week and got the majority of a 16 x 16 cabin constructed roughly 45 miles upstream from the village. I should say Roy got the majority of the cabin constructed. We used materials salvaged from a past cabin that had dropped into a sinkhole. I bought the material and other contents of two storage sheds. That was a risky move since it was a sight-on-seen deal. It worked out alright though. Some material was kind of rough, but we made it work.

Good deal Bob. How did the hunt on Kodiak go?

Cool cabin Bob! Glad it owrked out. That guy on top looks like if you put a flannel shirt on him could be Larry the Cable Guy!

Looks good. Just a heads up, the link to your cabin rentals is not working on my system? Not sure if it is just mine or a BS problem?
Good luck with Dan in Az.

No Blacktails on the Unalakleet River. This place is for bear hunting and fishing. Its about 200 miles south of the Arctic Circle near the western coast of Alaska. This where most of the big grizzly bears are being killed in Alaska. There are lots of salmon in the river and the biggest Arctic Greyling I've ever seen.

We only managed to lose a few pieces of trim in 8 or 9 sling loads. Not too bad for a couple rookies.

That looks incredible...I think Roy could build a cabin out of popsicle sticks and duct tape if you needed him to!
Those pants of Roy's have some MILES on them. WHo needs KUIU or Sitka when you have Hanes!

Bob,
I convinced Traci to go with me, but she wants to know where the hot tub is located. I told her it was out back.

That's a rough view from out there on Kodiak... I'd say it is priceless.
After re reading my last post I meant Hut* not hunt.
Looks like you have good help all the way around.
