I practice out to 200 yards.. .the other bowhunter harvested his ibex at 80 yards ...

Hunt is on my list in the next 5 years. I was looking to do this next year but my father booked a trip to Tanzania and has 3 buffalo on quota. "Ok, Father, I'll help".

Mountain Blade, How was the weather? Of the Marco Polo you saw, were any of them in a place you could get close. The one thing I noticed was the ibex were in the rocks and that would definitely help with cover but almost every sheep we saw was in the wide open. I don't know how you could get close enough to them for a shot. That may be the time of year though.

I had three great days of weather which helped a lot ! I could of shot a nice ram at 90... I will be back soon for polo ram. Jim- This is the time to bow hunt over there.

I use different slider systems and mounts (spot hog/sur-loc). The bow that was used on this hunt was a back up bow. Im trying other sites as well.
