Any feedback on this for a lower end rangefinder with angle compensation. They run about 175.00. What experience have you had with it.

Try one before you buy! I had the Bushnell Chuck Adams model and the button was extremely stiff and if you held it wrong and had your thumb on the battery cover and index finger on the ranging button and sqeezed it wouldn't fire the laser, if you didn't have your thumb on the battery lid it worked great but laser button was still very stiff. I sold it and bought another Nikon.! Read on this and a few other forums where other people had same problem as i did so it wasn't just mine. Had good luck with Bushnell before that and their customer service was great on previous model I owned. Hopefully they ironed out the bugs in this new model! Sorry I'm not more help on this new model!

Bou I just purchased a new rangefinder last week (also on a budget as usual). The bushnell truth was among the varieties I tested out in store. It is a mediocre device at best. Not very brite display, low magnification and is not "waterproof" but claims to be "water resistant", whatever that means. I ended up going with last years model of the Nikon achers choice which compared side by side blew the Bushnell out of the water. It has a way brighter display, higher magnification, IS waterproof, has the scan mode and angle compensation that the Bushnell does. It is an lcd display but has an led backlight mode which brightens up the display in a low light situation. The bushnell was $199.00 and the nikon was $219.00. Was an easy choice for me.

I have the Bushnell Truth and have no problems with it at all. For the price I don't think you can beat it. I'll be carrying it in Wyoming chasing mulies in two weeks.

I have used Bushnell rangefinders with ARC for three years now without any problems. Would not hesitate to buy another.

Hey Bou, I just bought a Leupold Rx-1000i TBR with DNA. Got it on sale at Cabelas for $299. Not sure if the sale is still on. Looks like a real nice unit though if that helps ya any.
