Shot a bull with them last year, cut a massive hole but it didn't penetrate through the opposite side. I do not contribute the entire lack of penetration to the broadhead but I'm sure being that it was an expandable it had some influence on it. I'll post a pic of the entry wound in a bit.

Your going to lose some penetration, as you would with any expandable. But if you hit em right, it will do the job. That being said, I always get a little nervous when I have a client that shoots any mechanicals on elk. Pass throughs rarely happen it seems, and remember there is a huge body cavity that will hold a lot of blood. The elk will die, however the blood trail may be so minimal the they are hard, sometimes impossible to recover. But then again I am just a guide, I am not the messiah of archery hunting...
