Been in a tree for about an hour. Huntin one of my agents farms today. Doe only here. Had a nice buck 30yds behind me already. Semi calm wind but swirly. Drizzle. Hope to nail one. Photo of my 12. On ensue of corn field and crossing farm road.

Ok just let one fly. Thought it was a miss how ahe ran off but just laid down about 60yds away in some really thick stuff. Just goin to watch for a while. Her head is still up.

Convinced it's a different deer or not hit/not hit well. Had it low vitals looking away. If it missed it was just low. Never missed and now maybe back to back hunts. This is getting fun.

Found no blood anywhere tonight. Found the bed area and again clean. I'm going to go search in the morning as well. Haven't found the arrow either. I'm convinced that deer I was watching was another deer. Land owner and I will see what's up in the morning. It's extremely thick where I was shooting/deer laid down. Very hard to see at night. Hoping for a clean miss or a dead deer. Hate to think of wounding something.

Root soup boys. Really glad it was a clean miss. It buried completely in leaves. Found it with a boot this morning. Pretty disappointed that I've missed twice now. Also so odd that the deer just went and bedded down and stayed put 2+ hrs. I'm just dumbfounded by that.
Anyway I'm going to practice a little this afternoon. I'm just so darn excited in the tree. Need to relax a bit.
Here's a pic of the buck I had to pass on yesterday. Doe only farm. It's a trail can pick from 3 days ago. 40yds from the climber I put up.
