I scored a bruiser of the Dall's sheep today. Net 167 5/8. Looks to be #4 all time-pending panel scoring of course.
pictures or it didn't happen!
sorry, I always wanted to say that
Is it a bowsiters Ram.....;)
There were 2 monsters shot in the NWT this year. Not sure what the other one scores but I couldn't be happier for this rams owner.....
For record animals like this potentially may be, it may be wise to not post photos yet.
Not sure whether you plan to submit for a story or any other use, but I believe once you post things for public you lose some of the rights.
However, congrats seem to be in order...
Giant!! Can't wait to see the pics
Pictures, pictures, pictures!!!!!
Pictures! Pictures!! Pictures!!!
Sorry, but in journalism school they teach you that worlds like -
"bruiser" "#4 all-time" and "no pics" can NOT be used in the same sentence, paragraph, chapter, story or series!!!!!
It's like your wife whispering in your ear, 'You know what I reeeeeallly want to do to you"...and then she takes off and goes on a week-long vacation with her girl friends!
No picture, No true! use to said my grandpa. let´s get to see this ram!!!
Congrat Mark. Huge accomplishment.
Fellow Bowsiters, Had an incredible hunt to the Northwest Territories this August! As I tell my wife it was one of those "trip(S) of a lifetime!" Hopefully there will be many more! I have never had an article published about a hunt, but if there was ever going to be one, this is the one. So, I hope you can understand, I can share some of the trip but not all.
I hope you enjoy,
Mark
Congratulations, awesome ram. Look forward to the story wherever it shows up
Congrats on that Outstanding Trophy!
Holy smokes! Congrats. What a ram!
Couldn't have happened to a better guy. Congrats Mark! Hard work seldom goes unrewarded :)
Cogratulations Mark, that is definitely a beauty of a ram! Can't wait to hear the story.
If you have often thought about doing a "dream adventure hunt" but for whatever reason you haven't committed....I would really encourage you to set the goal and pull the trigger! Don't wait! You have all the resources a person needs to pull off a great adventure (however you may define)! I started bowhunting eight years ago and found BS about five years ago. I am continually amazed at the generosity of Bowsiters to coach, teach, share information and help each other succeed! My "panel of experts" that helped me with this trip planning were all Bowsiters, except for one. The other key resource is Mark at BSC....He is a great asset that genuinely wants to see you succeed!

Wow! What a trophy! But the REAL question inquiring minds want to know is,...

Mark
He was missing 3 out of 8 of his bottom teeth. The 5 remaining teeth were all loose and felt like they could have been pulled out. He was aged at 12 years old. Stan Simpson, my outfitter was super pumped we killed him (for multiple reasons!) as he said he most likely would not have made this coming winter.
Mark
And yes (before a certain someone asks), we did enjoy a incredible meal of fresh sheep cooked on a flat rock!
Mark
WOW! Congrats on a trophy of many lifetimes!!!!!
Congrats on a stud of a ram! Stan does have some good rams in his area for sure. I did a hunt last year with them. I took a nice ram as well but it was a rifle kill. That is a remarkable ram with any weapon, but with a bow, truly amazing!!!!
Awsome Ram!...congrats on your accomplishment..!!!
Wow. Congrats on getting it done and dropping the sting on a Dalls. Just hunting them would be a fantastic adventure..... putting that on the ground is icing, whipped cream and a cherry on top!
Congratulations. .. Beautiful ram. Ed F
Mark, huge ram! Congratulations! How long is he?
Kurt
Thanks again for the comments......I the lucky guy and was at the right place at the right time.
Kurt, He is 41 2/8 on his left and 39 5/8 on his right. My guide (Superguide Tee Jensen) had guided 21 ram kills of which 4 were bow kills. He just about came out of his camo when he put the tape on him and came up with 41+"! Tee's first over 40"!!! Very happy for Tee.....a true professional and a great friend!
Ed F, you like the hat? I joined P&Y about one year ago! Glad I did!
