Pike County Illinois Hunt: Nov 1- Nov 8

Headed out to the family farm in Pike County, IL, near New Canton tomorrow morning. Making the 14 hr drive from Baltimore with a stop in Indianapolis. First time ever hunting our family farm with a buck tag in my pocket. Couldn't be more exited! Taking a buddy with me and we're pretty serious about killing mature deer.
What have you guys been seeing while hunting that part of the country? Chasing? Fighting? scrapes? etc.
gonna try to do some live hunt stuff as well while in the stand. looks like a good time for this cold front to be moving in.

I haven't hunted pike for years hunted around Pittsfield I had great hunts nov 1st to 12 usually chasing good luck I miss that place

Left early this am. Brief 4 hr stop in Wheeling, WV for a new fuel pump and I'm back on my way. Nothing is gonna stop me, I'm too excited to get out there. Hope to be in a stand by 2pm tomorrow!
