God!!!!!!!!!! I woke up in the middle of the night dreaming of a snake with the same color face last night! I was kicking trying to get it out of my bed!

They are really not very aggressive contrary to what most people think.
The big problem is that they have no warning sound. They stand their ground and coil up and open the moth to display the "Cotton". I photograph them all the time usually just out of striking distance..I never hurt them and Ihope they spread that message in the swamp.

This is the only time they look good to me.......... their skin on my limbs...
BTW, I'm looking for some nice skins to do another set of limbs on my recurve if anyone has a couple nice rattler or timber rattler skins let me know

I think they are at their cutest with a bullet hole in them. I have been struck twice by cottonmouths , but never bitten. May have something to do with my feelings toward them !
