Good luck Pat - don't always trust the cameras, there could be a bigger one around than that for sure.... Be ready for anything! I also feel if there is, it will show in the afternoon, as the late season mornings seem to be less productive - at least for me.

lol - my wife just renewed her tags that expired in Aug. Her daughter got stopped with the expired tags a couple weeks ago. My wife drives around with the renewal sticker in her purse and hasn't put them on her plate yet. I just marvel.

Congrats Pat - meat is good! Plus - antler size is all relative to the region you hunt. I once knew a guy from 'bama, that insisted hia 100" buck is equivalent to a 170" buck in Iowa.

On the DMV thing with the expired plates good luck.. Michigan did it to me a few years ago. Funny thing was they actually had my registration for my Camry to a Buick someplace in the state and they claimed it was my fault! Fortunately the DA sided with me and let me go.

Before the BTC even starts - I will wager that is the exit side, cuz I am thinking from a high tree stand, within 20 yards, if that were the entrance, there is no dead deer at the end of the trail... The last BTC was for idiots, I hope this one is for the level below that :) (can't say it - trying to be sensitive)
The challenge will be, what was the shot angle... Broadside? Quarter to? Quarter away?

Well yes and no! From the ageing deer thread. "When a deer gets over 3.5 it is just a guess unless you do the Cementum Annuli." The only old deer I see are at the petting zoo.
