It probably is a good spot. I'm guessing they don't know that protecting wildlife isn't actually within their rights.

To each their own I guess. I'd stop by and kindly offer them some jerky or sausage from deer I harvested next door. Maybe offer to take their kids hunting.

I do know that your old spot is not in the South.
My reasoning:
1. More than two colors of paint used.
2. The Fence being painted itself is a dead giveaway.
3. No misspelled words.
4. Contains some complete sentences with punctuation. . . . . . . . . .
and last . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
5. No bullet holes in the fence.

My take is that they have had problems in the past with hunters trespassing. Now, I'll bet they don't. Trespassers don't hunt on places like this. BC

Midwest, now that's funny. The sign is from here in Iowa. The story I got is before the DNR started an urban hunt the neighborhood had problems with the gun hunters shooting up the place. There is no fence there just the sign and behind it is a deep ravine with houses on the opposite side. Killed several deer from right beside the sign. Always tried to keep a low profile and only had one run in with any of them. One of them left me a note that said stop hunting you Bastard. Had my wife drop me off from then on. Lost the spot when farmers son decided he needed to hunt.
