I took it for a little test drive. It pulls great. I had it up to 50mph. I didn't want to go any faster on dirt roads. Ina few days I will take it to a scale and get an exact weight.

Looks interesting! A "home" on wheels. How did you secure it on the trailer?

I doubled the floor joists where I wanted the bolts to go and then drilled through the two joists and ran a bolt into the frame. I counter sank the bolt head and used a washer under the bolt head. I used six 5/8" x 8" bolts.

did you build it or was it used originally for something else? how is it framed or what is the shell made from?
not sure if there is heat or cooking facilities inside but, if there are, make sure you have an emergency egress besides the door.

I built it from the ground up. The floor is 2x6 the walls are 2x4 and the roof is 3/4 ply. cut in an arch. It is totally covered in 3/8 ply glued , glued, glued. The insulation is 3" closed cell foam. I had the trailer built by Kokopelli trailers in Phoenix. Uriah did a great job and is a great guy.
