I use 1"x7" on carbons, and 1 1/4"x 7" on aluminum.

I like a 1"x3.5" in white. The white shows what color of blood to determine how soon to take up track. A short wrap because it does greatly help with vane adhesion but I don't want any more weight at the tail end of the arrow than needed.

Hope this helps,

Mark

Ha, might as well give my preference as well. My wraps are also 1" wide, but I cut them down to 5" long for no reason other than 5" looks better with my Blazers than does 7".

I agree I use 1" wraps and on arrows with short vanes cut them to 5"s. If I am using 4 or 5" feathers I keep them 7"s long. Shawn

1" at 3.5 with AAE Maxhunter Vanes. I prefer yellow for the color.

I always bought 7" ones and cut them in half for blazers. You don't want the permanent vinyl, I would guess the Scotch brand with the black brand mark on the backing. Why not just get them from onestringer he has all different sizes and you know it's the right stuff?

Yes, Scott is the best!! He can pretty much make you what you want and for a very fair price. Shawn

I know it would be easier to get them at an established company but I'm kinda interested in tinkering with this. Thanks all. Lewis
