Who has tried this and how did it work for you, I would like to give it a shot but would like to hear what kind of results go along with it.. Thanks

Either would work but both will be short lived. The deer will pick them out right away. Once targeted, they will not last long. That is not a reason to not do it but should go in knowing it. I have personally seen peas targeted more than beans. Might be due to peas not being so common here. I planted them with wheat and oats.
Good luck.

I just tickle disc'ed and used mixed beans, I do that every year, mow the clover after its got some flowers to seed. lightly disc, spread seed , drag flat or culti pac . I also mix mustard, and turnip and wheat. about 5% is other than bean. It has not rained sence I planted but I got the beans down to 3" and broad cast the other seed over the finished plots. I small scale my areas, as I don't have much land . you have to weaken the clover some or every thing else may fail.

We did it with peas but the wild picks tore up the entire food plot as soon as they started sprouting, I mean decimated the food plot.

kelly,, thats what im concerned about. thinking i will leave it straight clover and put the beans and peas elsewhere. thinking the peas and beans will not even get a chance to maximize and the deer will wreck the whole plot.
