What can I plant that grows fast, thick, and tall?

I would like to create a small food plot along my driveway but don't want them to be seen from passing motorists.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Fastest will be egyptian wheat or a mix of that. This is an annual that does well, but doesnt stand the best through winter.

Another option is michanthus giganteus. ......its a perennial grass that grows taller that the stuff I mentioned above (12 ft) and stands better. Its not real cheap though and takes aboit 3 years to get to its full potential.

Last option and best permanent solution is to plant 3 rows of staggered Norway spruce.

Egyptian wheat X2.

Be sure & side dress it with some nitrogen a couple of times. It grows really well.

But like CAS stated , it doesn't stand up very well to snow, especially wet snow.

X3 on the Egyptian wheat. I tried it for three years, and it makes a good barrier, but the frickin hogs tore mine up every year.
