Post up your weird non game trail cam pics of this year.

Here is one. I saw these 2 yahoos a couple hundred yards from my tree stand while hunting out in Nebraska. They walked thru right during prime time. My trail cam snapped a pic of them.

The next day I did some recon and found a guy sitting in the stand from Alabama, hunting with a crossbow.

Forest Bows, that looks like a soil probe, though why the gentleman is probing, is a good question.

If he is a soil scientist, there are several possible reasons.

Probes can be used to "map" soil compaction, estimate moisture, and determine presence of coarse fragments ("rocks"), which coupled with a true soil map (based on observation pits and hand auger or Giddings probe profiles) can be used to delineate soil series boundaries, for agricultural uses.

Full confession. I stole the pic off of TexasBowHunter, but I thought it was damn funny, especially that the one on bottom is a boar. Strange goings-on there !
