Well see, I had this great plan. Since I had not hunted since Monday, I thought I would go this morning. In preparation for that, I got two columns done, my outdoor tips for two weeks done and my Bible lesson for tomorrow prepared.
Then, as so often happens, it began to rain right straight down instead of the scattered showers predicted.
I am now forced to eat shrimp gumbo and hot cornbread and watch some football in which I have zero interest.
The best laid plans of mice and men, etc....

Football I have to agree with you but the shrimp gumbo sounds good!

I make the best gumbo outside LA...and sometimes even within. So far, have napped through two games and working on three and four.
