How are you sharpening the tips of the ferrules? I do the blades with my kme and last year stropped the tips. Any other ideas? Am I over thinking it?

I just use a medium or fine grit flat stone to sharpen the tips. Very easy. Don't over think it.

I just use a flat file. Takes about 10 seconds to get the tip back in shape.

What Grunt said! Super simple.

Alternative; when too dull to re-touch per methods above, simply hold an arrow and rotate/grind the tip on a power grinder into a conical "field point" type tip. The modified Slick Trick becomes a wonderful turkey head; much like the blunt-tipped NAP Gobbler Getter.

I use a small diamond sharpener on mine. The point is like a needle when done. Love them Slick Mags!
