The cuddy backs good cameras u figure Craig, I like the moultrie with the double A batteries they work good and I like there battery setup compared to the bushnell cams. Good luck next month

Thanks grape. I got 14 baits set out for the boys hoping to get some pics of a monster bear. It was a cooler day but mud bogging was still fun. Only had to winch 5 times.

I stayed in that cabin last fall and it was nice. Staining is coming along great and can't wait to see what it looks like on our fall hunt in 2017.
I'm a browning camera guy myself and their bear boxes are nice. Cuddes take nice color photos at night without a blur if you are using the non-IR models.

That is a big black. You know when they walk up to the barrel and can just grab stuff off the top they're a good one. Real nice hide on the blonde. Like to see him in few years when he's a little bigger!!

About 30 yards away could not find a whole but there is a pasture 3/4 of a mile away I'm guessing someone shot him with a small gun and he made it to there and died. It's too bad.

That was the first pick I had of him and only that day I'm geussing he was maybe shot already and came for easy food. The next day he was not on cam. Probably died that night.

He was just over 6 feet long but probably the same round his head is huge. His hair was slipping already but should have the skull to measure out.

That looks like the stand I sat in last fall in the 88 degree temps. I know you had a big chocolate coming into that site. Oak trees next to that stand had acorns dropping and the bears were hitting them pretty hard.

That hunt is a long way off and just a successful hunt will be fantastic. This might be my last bear hunt for a while and I'm going to hold out for a big boar - black, brown, blonde, color won't matter as much.

Well guys Mike had some bad luck we couldn't find his bear. But on the upside we had a great visit. 3 guys from Alabama showed up tonight. Hunting starts tommorrow. Wish us luck.
