Has anyone tried this free app? I'm downloading the maps for my unit now but I'm curious if anyone has tried it.

Yes, I've used them. It's good for basic info and roads. You download the map and open it in the App. After it's in there you don't need cell service. I used it in the Lincoln National Forest for a couple days. It was the only map I had and I survived...

Where do you get the maps? I only have the us map but there isn't much detail. I found some maps for new Mexico, but I need Colorado BLM maps. Anyone got a link?

Not sure it is set up for CO. In talking with people at NMG&F its a collaborative effort between BLM and NMG&F.
