At 7000ft we saw a cow trying to encourage her calf across a river. The calf was having none of the swift water

Snowed at my place last night at 8400. It was so sloppy I had to put the Yota in 4WD to go to a friend's house for dinner. Summer ain't here yet!

Yeah, news said yesterday snowpack was at 160%, I don't even think I'm going to try till early July. Just do some local hikes with weight for conditioning

It is crazy but on the good side! Went to see my dad for his birthday 3 weeks ago in the tri cities area of Washington and it was 87 to 89 degrees every day and for some reason it did not feel like the same tempts here given the altitude. I guess I am saying the sun hits us harder here with the elevation.

Yup, took the kids fishing today and got snowed on nearing the top of the Eisenhower tunnel.
