While we are like no other, broke barriers and boldly took our patent pending 100-630 Grain single bevel broadheads far beyond all single bevels on earth and much further than the legendary Dr. Ed Ashby reports of our hero Dr. Ed Ashby...we will probably be the very last machined broadhead company to launch the rust retardant types of coatings. This is not a reflection on any such type of rust retardant coatings, as there are some great ones out there.
You can't please everyone. But, more third party videos and pictures will start to come out showing our heads in unmatched destruction tests, spin cut rate comparisons, arrow flight and DG world records demonstrating why we don't want to change much on our patent pending heads, over the next several years. We don't want to be the guinea pigs on this as we saw the original Teflon coating broadhead attributes and also pitfalls back some years ago. After burying a handful of VPA Penetrators in the sand for over a year with their standard slick VPA proprietary coating, we are not interested in the rust retardant coating options at this time. Even though there are some great rust retardant coatings out there.
If and when it is on the market for over a year from a handful of other machined broadhead companies, then we will internally test it and revisit it again. However, VPA's standard proprietary coating performance in preventing rust. also yields a broadhead unmatched in structural integrity and edge retention through offside ribs compared to any pretty aluminum ferrule or stainless steel head. Rust, even in sand for over a year with the VPA Penetrators has never been a problem for us.
It seems many, and we are not talking at all about you Bou'bound, but many are obsessed with aluminum ferrules and pretty stainless steel blades to prevent the animal from getting hurt from tetanus...LOL >>>=====> all while compromising edge integrity and edge retention through offside ribs, as well as overall broadhead structural integrity with inferior metallurgy. We are not concerned about the animal getting tetanus from the possibility of rust with our ultra-high-end Bridgeport 41L40 Tool Steel or our Proprietary Bishop S7 Tool Steel, more than we are head integrity and sharpness inside of the animal.
The only reason a broadhead company should ever use marine grade type metals that are inferior in metallurgy in every way for a broadhead application such as aluminum, and stainless steel, is to mass produce broadheads for under a dollar a piece and make lots of money off from bowhunters. Rust has just never been a problem for us with numerous machined tool steel heads from the 3 Rivers Woodsman Blood Grooves, VPA Penetrators, RMS Cutthroats, or with any of the other awesome machined broadhead brand offerings out there on the market.

Please let everyone know, as a third party unbiased tester...if the claims of our Patent Pending Dicing Drills spin-cutting, or corkscrewing into mediums 1.8-4.2 times that of any other single bevel design on earth, with unmatched arrow flight seems like a true statement by us, or a totally false claim.
Just make sure your inserts are glued in really well before trying to remove your arrow from any medium shot into with an arrow tipped with our Patent Pending Bishop and Bridgeport Dicing Drills >>>=====>
Hope you like the head and find it makes spin driven gaping laceration channels, with very low poundage traditional bows up trough high poundage dangerous game set-ups.
