Guess I'll get it started...
Wyoming, Aug. 16th
I see you finally got you new bow.:) Congrats!
39 yards, quartering away, that's the exit hole in front of his shoulder. Took him forever to come in and calm down to get a drink. He went about 60 yards and tipped over
Opening morning in Wyoming.
Nice job guys! Can't hardly wait!
Colorado opening day...congrats and best of luck to everyone else
Nice goat Nesser! Any pics with that beast's head up? Looks like a good one.
Congrats guys! Here's my first pronghorn. The 17th in Colorado.
You know Quinn that's about the best pic I have. He's decent but not huge. Just shy of 13
Nice bucks guys! Dan, how'd you luck out and find one that would run into your arrow? ;-0
NM spot and stalk. My kids watched it all!
Got this guy Wyoming opener Monday August 15th. Sat in my pop up blind from 6:00 AM until my shot at 5:33 PM. Very hot day but worth the wait. Horns about 13 1/2 with good prongs and mass. 25 yard shot. Good luck to all and congratulations to those successful hunters.

Looking good!! I gotta get back out somewhere and get me another one some day!!
Wyoming on day 6. This should be my biggest buck. We were 5 for 5 this year.
My son and I added another specie to our take together. First stalk of the season. One & Done. 50 yard shot..spot and Sprint. Who needs camo anyways??? :) We were on our way to join some friends already at antelope camp when this little buck was feeding in an very stalkable location. No time to change clothes. Just grab my bow and Sprint across the 400 yards hoping the antelope were still tight in near the willows...
My son and I have taken whitetail, elk and now goats together.. Guess I better start planning a mule deer hunt.... Once the elk tag is punched that is. :)
8/19/16. 3:45
He snapped this pic on the pack out.
Congrats all! Awesome seeing animals finally being taken again! Bring on September!
weather turned bad for me. I never drew my bow but had a great time. Buddies still there & no luck yet but they have a few more days. Wy.

Spot and stalk
My wife's, Cindy, Colorado opening morning buck.
The best (lousy, long distance, hand held) photo of my buck on day 3.
Because...
...I had the second worst outcome on a pronghorn hunt. There isn't enough clean water on the planet (certainly not anywhere in the area) to clean that yuk off.
Congrats to the successful hunters.
Zeik, I'd be alright with that outcome.
Co 8/20 - one day in the box
Congrats to all on some beautiful animals. Hope to be posting in a couple weeks on this tread to join ya'll.
I must say tho that those teeth like in the pic above really freak me out.
My daughter, Baylee's first archery antelope buck, taken in Wyoming.
Awesome Baylee!!!!! Congrats to dad too!!!
Oh yeah! Congrats Baylee!
The season is just beginning but I'm pretty sure Baylee will be getting my vote for best antelope hunter of the year.
Congrats.
Very cool Baylee! Welcome to a lifelong addiction!!
Marvin
Way to go Baylee! How awesome is that? Congrats to you all!
Western South Dakota got him right at sundown sunday night coming into a water source. I ambushed him from a small cut out in the bank and never new what hit him!!
Congrats to all thus far.
A special congrats to Baylee- "sic'em girl !"
Good to see the kids. Nice bucks all!
That is awesome Jason. Looks like you're days are numbered around your house as the hunter. Tell her congrats from Charlotte and I.
Ding, ding, ding.....Baylee is the winner?
Great job.
Congrats everyone and a big congrats to Baylee!!!!!
Congrats everyone on the antelope! Took my first buck 9/2 in WY - what a blast!
Some great Lopes...Congrats!
Looks like I am able to add mine. I was very fortunate to finally get my hands on this great goat. It was my first one and I am extremely happy with him.
A big thanks goes out to my guides Mark and JJ at Werner Ranch. If it were not for the persistence of these great guys then I would not have gotten him.
Congrats to all! CO September 11th
My son & I doubled on the same day within a half-hour of each other on our first (but not last) pronghorn hunt (9/7) in Wyoming. All 8 in our group were successful & had a great hunt.
Congrats to everyone above!
The buck I have been after all season finally made a mistake.
After 7 years of passing up bucks, waiting for my ideal antelope, it finally came together on my first stalk this year with Wild West Outfitters in Alberta. We stalked to about 120 yards and popped the decoy up, but neither he nor his does paid any attention. After that, we were able to sneak further in to about 80 yards. Obviously, the buck had noticed the buck decoy earlier, as he challenged us before we even got the decoy up. As soon as he looked away, he popped the decoy up and my guide began whispering ranges. I drew behind the decoy then slowly leaned out when he reached 40 yards. He kept walking and when he reached 30 yards and quartering to, I put the pin on his close shoulder and sent the VPA on the way. The hit was perfect and he only went 25 yards before tipping over on the prairie.
MBMule,
That is one heck of a nice pronghorn!!
Thanks, Jake! Judging by his green score, he should gross between 79 8/16" and 80 8/16", depending on how much he shrinks during the drying period.
Hello,
I've never hunted before. just interested in trad archery and kind of interested in the taste of antelope. Any interesting dishes for pronghorn?
Thanks.
MBMule is the man. Congrats!
Haha thanks, Kyle! Fish'n, I had it probably close to 10 years ago in hot dog style sausages, and it was great that way. I don't have much experience with it other than that (yet), but I would imagine that lots of these guys have eaten plenty of it and could help you out. You may get more replies starting a thread dedicated to that question, too.
Picked up a tag last minute after the season started just in case I'd have time to hunt. Turned out to be a great get. My best antelope, on Sept. 10th Colorado.
Pronghorn meat is great, as long as you take good care of it.
My family will take it over venison, and rank it with elk.
DIY Colorado Public Land Solo Hunt
Thats the biggest pronghorn Ive ever seen!! ;)
Montana rutter bedded up all by himself along a water hole.......42 yards spot and stalk
I took this buck in Idaho on 9-13-16. 45 yard shot over a water hole.
My first antelope. DIY Idaho 9/19/16
Congrats on the goats everyone!!
A bit of luck in Wyoming on September 20th.
Let's try this again . . .
