Having a good Fall 2016 wolf season. Over 100% success so far. Of course having two hunters in camp helps to keep success high.
All over baited sites.
Here is Jason Holdiness's first wolf.
An Alpha male of the pack. There is about 7 wolves left at this point in the pack.
We have plans to do a little damage to the rest of the pack.
We save all the deboned carcasses in the cooler for wolf season. We also go to a pork processing place and get the guts from there. Also get a buffalo head or 2 for bait.
Its a raunchy job, but worth seeing the smiles on the hunters faces.
Andrew Kraemer and his year old female wolf he took on Sunday. Had a whole pack around him and he sat ready to fire the instant one walked out.
The wolves were all over the hunters the rest of the week. Hunters played a waiting game with the preditors. Andrew had a single wolf let loose a blood curdling howl about 30 yards from him.
He said he NEVER had a rush like he experienced when the wolf let loose.
The hunters were thinking the Timberwolves were getting smart with the set up, untill 7:20 am this morning this older female showed up, Jasons second wolf.
Pack is now missing alpha male and female!!!
Jason Holdiness and me with his trophy!!
Nice work. I hope you get all of them.
I really want to do this

We have another wolf hunt October 15th. Then the last week of November and the last hunt of the year is first week of December, we are booked for the rest of 2016 wolf.
I walked up on this wolf when I was checking one of the bait sites earlier this year. Thought I was going to have a fight on my hands!!
You can always tell a wolf track from a coyote. Although there are no coyote where we hunt our wolves.
We are going to offer a winter hunts for the following weeks winter 2017:
February 19th - 24th.
Then Feb. 26th to March 3rd.
Final week is going to be March 5th - 10th.
Cost is $1595.00 including licenses.
Hunt includes remote outpost cabin, transportation, guide, 1 group per week ( 2-3 hunters per week ).
Ground blinds and CITIES and Export permit before you leave to go home, included. I get all permits for you.
We supply the sleds.
We put the wolf carcasses out on the ice. Wolves wont eat the carcasses but all the birds that are attracted to the kill will bring the wolves.
You can see all the wolf trails leading to the kill in this picture.
This hunter has hunted wolves for years with out being successful. First day on our bait he takes this female.
There is a lot of luck involved. Not all are as lucky as this gentleman.
This is the Quibell Lake remote outpost where hunters stay.
This is the guides cabin about 50 yards from hunters. Both cabins on the lake.
This was a wolf taken during the March hunt.
We offer a combo wolf with bear included in the hunt. Success for wolf is good but because you are spending so much time outsmarting the wolf your bear success is lowered.
Mr. Henley's 1rst wolf on left.
Wolf on right was an old mangy female. Teeth all worn right down..
Now I really really want to go. I called last week and will try and call this weekend if that's OK

During the late winter hunt, temps could get down to -30's. I tell winter wolf hunters to bring own heaters for the blinds.
This is Mr. Henley's 2nd wolf of the year 2014.
Limit is 2 wolves per year. 2nd wolf is an extra $260.00 for a 2nd seal.
