Like JTV I have dropped my poundage through the years. Used to shoot 70, then it was 65. Then volleyball and creeping age (69) gave me two shoulders with rotator cuff problems. I dropped to 60 pounds then 55 to ease the pain. Wouldn't you know it about two weeks ago after a few practice rounds something in my bow shoulder popped a little when drawing back. So now at 50 pounds with my Darton 3800 at a 30.5 inch draw length. Still plenty for whitetails! :)

Bowtech Experience, 68lbs. at 30" draw. I may have to turn it down though. Drew up at an awkward angle a few months ago and something popped in my shoulder. Took a week before I was able to shoot, and that was fighting through the pain. Still painful to draw, but getting better. It's hell to get old and realize you need to start backing off....

72. I prefer 70 lb limbs maxed out. That's what I've shot for over 20 years. Until I struggle with that weight, I'll keep it.
