Well, I got the first Sitka in there twice, otherwise I think I got it right. One more hunt to do this year yet. I'll try for a Mountain Lion in a couple weeks when I get to Arizona.

5 species, 7 total animals, 2 of the most difficult species in NA to kill with a bow, and all of them mature animals with a bow. I'd say that just about anyone would consider that a good year. Grats!

Bob I think most would agree that the Coues deer is a very difficult animal to arrow, and you do it with consistency. I'd guess that was the second Ike referred to.

I'll be hunting Coues deer again before March as I did last year and I hunted goats in March last year too. So, it really would not be within the 12 month period.

Not bad at all. The brown duck overalls reminds me of when I first started. I used to hunt with brown overalls and red and black letterman's jacket. When I was 18. I finally got to the point where I could afford better gear. Maybe someday you'll get there. It was great hunting with you this year.

Bob, How are you hunting the lion? I imagine Wade still hunts that area with dogs. The last time we were there Coues hunting (Dec. 2014) there was a tremendous amount of lion sign but the deer herd was still healthy.
