I am once again tinkering with my bow and trying to iron out arrow flight kinks. I've done the walkback/paper tuning, but it occurs to me that getting a videocam clip that clearly follows the flight of an arrow to the target might be an efficient way to detect obvious flight defects (porpoising for example). Has anyone done this, and if so, what gear do you use? I suppose it could potentially be small enough to be bow-mounted, so it could do shots on animals, but for this purpose it would probably be on a tripod looking right over the shoulder. Would there potentially be an issue staying in focus for the (likely 20-yard) arrow flight, in which case more of a side view would probably be appropriate. Suggestions on cams, how to do it?
