Actually Pat, this might be your FIRST hunt of the year. ie, 2017. Yea, I know, the end of the season. Hard to put the bow down for sure and to get back to business as usual.

If you are bow hunting and had an opportunity to watch the deer for a bit, how could you make that mistake? Pretty easy to check with a good pair of bino's. I would be sick over that one. Scooby

I have a couple 150" sheds and some Gorilla glue. We can restore his "mid-season" look for sure. Only thing I need to know is your guess at the inside spread.

I appreciate the way you handle this situation Pat. Hunting is supposed to be fun and allow food for the family. Some are way too serious including me sometimes. If I mess up I tend to not be too serious, but I can be too hard on others sometimes including my own family. Glad you got one!

I should also clarify my post, no problem you shot him. Just think it sucks as he may a been a good one in a year or two. I have done it with a muzzleloader just meant with a bow ya can usually tell before ya shoot. Scooby
