I had to look twice. Well, when there are no does around, a buck as to do what a buck has to do!

Two years ago there was a six point doe killed in Chautauqua County, NY. Maybe this buck knows something that we can't tell from a photo.....

If you look close you can see that his left, front hoof is flat.
Buddy is just pumping him up.

Yep, trail cams have ruined the "don't ask , don't tell" whitetail policy

What if the one getting the treatment is actually a doe with horns. It would not be the first one but I believe they are usually sterile but may still smell good!

Some good captions, but in all seriousness, mounting is documented across the mammal world as a way to assert dominance....so it's interesting the smaller racked buck is the one doing the mounting....maybe both 2 year olds and the small guy is a little tougher? Or just random coincidence, who knows?

You better shoot him. He isn't helping the herd grow.

The major cause of buck dispersal. I would get the hell out of there too.

Living next door to the buckeye state has allowed me the ability to realize that few things from Ohio surprise me anymore.

Pretty closed minded to assume it may just be a doe with antlers. Maybe he identifies as a doe OK?

Ahhhhhh, you're joking right, hillbillies without teeth and family trees without branches...8^)
BTW, notice both bucks are still carrying racks in February...

Watched a whitetail button buck try to mount, most likely his mother the just other day... Two fawns and a mature doe traveling together makes me believe a family unit... Animals have no morals, and doubt the mature doe was in estrus, believe it's just a instinctive thing of a young male... Much like a male puppy humping his favorite toy...8^)
