Dudes isolated always drawing what I'm sure they missed. Imagine the size of a tree needed to sketch the average american woman?

What pisses me off is this exact carving on the trees, and especially in a Wilderness Area. No respect for nature at it's finest and I expect most of it is done by non hunters. my best, Paul

Is it just me, or does it look like most of the women have the face of a sheepdog? Apparently the sheepherders have type.

Found several of these on an Elk hunt at Red Creek Outfitters in Utah a couple of years ago. I shot the arrow at 24 yards & nailed it! Surprized myself more than my guide!

Muzzlebow, how many times did you see the name "Tim McPhee" on trees down in Red Creek?

Wow, I do remember seeing trees with that name on them. Sounds like you've hunted there too. Beautiful piece of land with lots of Elk!

Once upon a time all that land was through there was either public or the old timers just didn't care who "owned" it and it was just Red Creek without the "outfitters". I believe the top of Red Creek is still public but it's been years since I've been back in that far. Tim McPhee was a good friend of my Dad growing up and the entire McPhee family was friends with Our family the "Clydes" They were all homesteaders down in the Heber valley but spent TONS of time throughout all that land up there on horses hunting fishing etc... Both families still frequent those hills in the fall for the rifle and muzzle loader seasons. The hunting through all that country used to be really good but anymore it looks like an interstate up there with so many trucks, atv's, motor cycles etc... during hunting season it's crazy. At dawn and dusk it's a steady flow of headlights. The animals there get pushed to the private ranches really fast now. It's hard to go 100 yards in that area without seeing a tree with the "McPhee" name on it or my great grandfather "Ellis Clyde". You could say the roots run deep there! Lol
