Was glassing for Grizzlies and spotted a few wolves so decided to make a play. I got the wind right and moved in, all the while they were howling... Not long after I setup where I thought they'd come I seen some white and drew my bow, leaned out around the bush concealing me and let an arrow fly!

That is a great accomplishment way to go Nick. A wolf as got to be one of the most difficult critters to bag with a bow.

Bet that was one suprised wolf. Easy skinning job because he must of turned himself inside out when that arrow zipped thru him.

Wow, that is a rare feat.....congrats! No doubt the number of wolves taken by bow in the modern era is "damn few". IMO the wolf should be added to the P&Y record keeping system, using skull measurement same as lions & bears. NA30.

Great job, targets of opportunity with a bow. Killing one is rare air...... so hard to do. I imagine there are bowhunters somewhere that have gone specifically on a "wolf hunt" but I've never heard of any, the difficulty level so high. Congrats!
Offhand the only other bowhunter I know of killed a wolf with his bow is Steve H.
