Wondering what everybody uses for drinks while hunting in the mountains? Gatorade, Sqwincher or some other energizing drink mixes?

Hydracharge from Kaged Muscle, and a lot of water.

I use electrolyte tables made by Nunn and a couple other companies. One or two in a 100 oz water bladder adds no sugar and help keep cramps away.

I mix Wilderness Athlete Energy and Focus with Hydrate and Recover. I'm bummed they quit making my favorite flavors though. Don't love the new flavors.

Good ol' Gatorade. I just like the added calories to go along with my water.

WA Hydration & Energy or Genesis Pure Hydrate & Energy: basically the same and work extremely well.

I've got the WA Hydration, Sqwencher, and Emergen-C in my pack. Can't go wrong with a little variety.

Try the Hammer Nutrition Fizz tabs. No sugar, added electrolites to keep cramps at bay.

Compare the ingredients in WA Hydrate and Recover with good old grocery store Emergen-C. Then compare the price.

In base camp I like 16 oz. Rock Star Hydrate and Recover (with 2x caffeine). Gets you back on your feet in a hurry!

Kota +2.....plus I try to drink 1 liter of water first thing upon waking up....

Being ahead of the thirst (and nutrition) curve makes all the difference in the world!!

Emergen-C lemon lime and orange. The formulation is a bit different. Both work equally well for me. I get mean leg cramps without it.

WA is only available online unless I'm mistaken. Used to be in stores, but they changed ownership & business model.

Hammer Nutrition (formulated for endurance athletes such as runners & cyclists) is good stuff too.

Cytomax is the only thing I've tried that keeps my calves from cramping.
