Will be leaving (flying) southern Illinois for Conne River's Dolland's Pond camp in exactly one month. Shot broadheads on all my arrows today. Good flight on all but one arrow which improved after refletching. I am flying with a friend from my area and will be sharing camp with fellow bowsiter Toothpick (Mike M ) from Wisconsin. He is driving and has graciously offered to haul some of our gear out there and to bring our meat back if we are fortunate enough to have success. Mike contacted me through Bowsite private message after a previous post of mine. It's great to have this forum and the users on here willing to offer advice and assistance.

Though not bow hunting, my hunting buddy and I will be at Conne River for the week of Oct. 8th. This will be our 7th trip to the rock; our first with David's outfit. A third hunter will be with us for his first trip...keep telling him he doesn't know what he is in for!

Good Luck I fly out on the 30th of this month! I'm doing archery caribou this time. I killed a great moose in 2015 there! I love hunting the rock!!

First time ever. Leaving for an October 15 moose hunt. Hoping for a decent moose, should be an experience to remember.
